Hello guys, I'm asking for some answers about my ping in the renegade server on n00bstories.
Here is the thing, my ping in the game is usually 200, fact that makes me think why the server list talks me about 42 speed, and I'm connecting with a 7mbps Internet link. in other servers I'm able to get about 50 and 60 ping connection.
thanks for the help guys, just trying to get a better game experience.

im going to assume that some of the other servers you connect to are area 54, tmx sniping an carebears. The reason for the lower ping in servers such as this is that they are hosted in europe, which will mean a lower ping as its closer to you. servers such as jelly, n00bstories etc are hosted in the us (texas i think), and because of the bigger distance between you and the server, you get a bigger ping.
things to do when you get in game:
press f8, then type sbbo 300000, enter.

but how to explain the speed value in the renegade server list, because the jelly server shows 140? or 150?, don't now for sure.
Tried the speedtest to texas and it gave me a 300 ping, so your probably right. I will try the bandwidth adjustment to see how it works

yes i now that :DDD.
The fact is that the INTERNET source is from my neighbors so the wireless signal interferes to. Got the network cracked
